We attend this every August. It’s a community event, and always seems to be a nice day outside. This year, there were so many cars that it filled the back lot full. There’s nothing like having a group of car enthusiasts together to see each other’s treasures and admire the detailed work they have completed. In the background, DJ Heidi spins her music while announcing raffle prizes hourly.

While our Ford F100 Ranger XLT truck didn’t win at the show, we still had a great time with visiting friends from Seattle to Vancouver, B.C.  One of the highlights was the opportunity to see Rollie Culbertson start up and run his tugboat Quail with its original 1940 Atlas-Imperial diesel engine.  The engine is so large that about six people could stand to one side of it in the engine room.  This was an amazing site, and Rollie was thrilled to show it off to everyone.
